Feather Quilting

I love quilting feathers, and I'll take any opportunity to practice. These ones can be seen best from the back of the quilt. Love love love them!

Need to work on those thread bobbles though. Every quilt is a learning experience :-)

Those feathers look very good to me. I just am never going to be good at machine quilting.

Beautiful! Either you deliberately kept the photo small ;) or the 'bobbles' are unnoticeable to anyone but yourself! I'm just starting to enjoy quliting feathers, too.

I don't see anything wrong with your quilting. I have tried feathers before and mine don't come anywhere close to looking that good.

It's been a bit since I've visited! I've missed so much! Your feathers are awesome and I've always enjoyed seeing your quilting. Are you still quilting on a DSM or did you get a longarm? Fantastic workmanship!!!
