On Target

In September, Judy issued a challenge for us to 'Show us your Stash'. I shared mine, and declared that I would like to work at moving the big blue tubs out of my life.

Well, I can today report that one tub is empty (you can see the empty one in the foreground on the left). I'm one very happy girl! Now I need to get busy working on the second one. Go me!

I am taking some of my unwanted stash to a local church thrift store this morning so I can use the emptied space for some of the fabric on the floor. Feels good. I know you feel good emptying at least one container.

I'm still working on my shelf of baskets with UFOs in them, but progress is happening. Thanks for your "encouragement by doing it yourself" attitude!

That is a wonderful feeling, cleaning out a bin and having something to show for it. It is my plan to start the first of the new year to use up whatever is left after the holidays.

Aren't we funny folks, we build up the collections in tubs and then we feel better when we get rid of them! And it is a very good feeling. Ah well, I guess it's all a striving for balance :-).

Congratulations! You must feel great. My current goal is to get my stash to fit INTO my plastic tubs. ;)
